A warm welcome to the world !
Here I am blogging. Now I got what I deserve. Or as the old saying goes, be careful about your prayers, the might come true.
I was looking for a mentor in the field of MLM and passive income and I found one.
And what does he tell me ?
“Oliver, you have to write a blog.” A what ? “A blog.” That was the last thing I wanted to do only a few months ago. But one month ago, I heard the revelation: “Oliver, you have to write a blog.”
Now, one month later, on December 23rd – tomorrow evening, our children are going to unwrap their Christmas gifts – I’m sitting here in my home office, in front of my iMac, unwrapping my mind: What the hell am I going to write about ? What the hell could motivate the world to read my blog ? What do I bring to the table ?
These were the questions that haunted me since I’ve heard my mentor’s words. The first question I had to answer to myself was: “Why did I reject blogging in the past ?” And: “How could I sell to myself that I should blog in the future ?”
I was looking for intrinsic motivation, because I didn’t want to follow any orders or doing anything only because I was told to do so.
What did hold me back ?
I suspected that the answer to this question could reveal the key to success and fulfilment in the future, the key I hided successfully from myself over nearly 40 years. And that’s what this blog is going to be about: To reveal the key to success and fulfillment that is hidden in everyone – from an MLM business building angle.
It’s going to be about fear, self-doubt and lack of self-confidence and how I overcame these self-destroying emotions or attitudes.
The first lesson I had to learn was: Be kind to yourself. I used to be very good in beating myself up.
And if you read my blog, be kind to yourself and be kind to me. I’m open to any feedback, to any question, to any hint that could enhance the quality of my blog, but…be kind to yourself and be kind to me.
You need not to believe anything I write here, believe only what you can believe according to your own conscience and your own experience.
Not what I write is important what you make out of it, that matters in your life. And when you decide “What this guy tells me, is the last thing I’m going to do.” I say to you:”Wonderful. I payed a contribution to your life by showing you how not to do something.” But you could also ask yourself the question: “Why am I rejecting it ?” – the same question I asked to myself when I heard my mentor’s voice about blogging. And now, here I am, blogging. If not for my mentor…
