Procrastination in video marketing is very counterproductive. If you are like me, you sometimes have not only writer’s block but also “actor’s block”. So you invent thousands of reasons why not to shoot a video today…and you are absolutely right with them. It’s too hot today, you’re not at home, you’re not shaved…(or you’re shaved today), you have to watch the World Cup on TV etc. By the way, please make sure to visit my YouTube-channel also.

You are right, but you won’t get ahead in your video marketing.

Sounds familiar ?

In most instances, this is a little voice issue – so you may want to read this post about little voice management, too.

That’s why I asked myself the question: Where and when can you do videos ?

Watch this video in order for you to learn what I came up with:

Where and when do you shoot your videos and how do you overcome procrastination in your video marketing ?

What do you think ?

I always love your feedback, so please leave me a comment down below with questions, thoughts, or feedback. And (yes, here’s my call to action) please share this post with your Twitter and Facebook friends by clicking on the share buttons below.

I appreciate you telling others.

    Hi Milena,
thanks for your appreciative comment. Yes, it’s really astonishing – it’s fun and it works. People like that, especially when they’re shot outside “in the nature”.

    Hi Oliver,
Sure, you can do video’s anywhere but I think you need to get a more consistent quality particularly with the sound. I recently watched someone else’s video they shot whilst driving to work and a lot of the action was directed at camera which I thought was a little dangerous – a bit like using a mobile phone and driving – anyway, my comment did not receive any response so maybe they thought I was being too picky? Nice idea, I like the natural settings, might be a bit more dramatic whilst in a thunder storm.

    Hi Pete,
you are right, the sound was a little bit poor at the part with the barbecue. I think I blocked the mic when holding the iPhone ;-) And only your imagination is the limit – you can do videos everywhere. Thanks for your comment.

    HI Ding,
I’m happy that I was bale to add value to your business and your life. In video marketing, it’s all about getting started. In my first videos, I didn’t even realise that the shots are mirror-reverse. And it took me a while to learn how to fix that ! So Nike sums it up the best: Just do it.

Enjoyed your demo Oliver- this is of course a great idea to not limit yourself in your video production. I can definitely relate to putting off making videos as well ( being unshaven has been my favorite excuse); thanks for pointing out there shouldn’t be any.
