Just an additional post in this successful series about the anatomy of quitting (previous part “Would you like to change places with another person ?”).
Who hasn’t heard this yet: “You can do anything.”
Is that true or are we setting up ourselves for failure when claiming that ?
Please watch this video in order for you to learn what I think about it:

Hey Oliver
So what you are saying is that I cannot be President of the USA?
Well considering I am Canadian I may have set my goals too high
You are absolutely right, we need to be realistic about what we can do. This does not mean we do not set high goals once we figure that out.

Hi Peter,
well, I wouldn’t say that you aim too high if you want to be president of a country – if you can’t become president of the US as Canadian citizen, you’re simply aiming into the wrong direction. And perhaps, they will make an amendment especially for you, who knows…
Thanks for your comment and have a blessed weekend.
Take care

LOL Peter I would vote for you we could use a good number cruncher right now.
Oliver a very simple but very profound statement we can do anything we are supposed to do.
That my friend I believe 100% we are only setting ourselves up for failure when we go against the grain.

Hi Steve,
the challenge is then to fund out what we’re supposed to do. An amazing journey.

Hey Oliver,
thanks a lot for creating this post. We could accomplish pretty much anything provided we´ve the willpower to work through it. By being optimistic we can definitely increase our activities because we´re motivating ourselves to proceed faster.
Have a relaxing and great weekend my friend,

Hi Michael,
that’s an awesome point: We can a do a lot, but we are probably not as good at it as we could and should be. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Ilka,
thanks for your comment. I think if we aim at goals that are not in our purpose, we need to try way harder. Why not following our God given gifts and talents ? Success comes more easily to us
Take care – und eine gute Woche

As mentioned in the book “7 Habits Of Highly Effective People”, you have to start with the end in mind. You have to envision the outcome or result that you desire. If you do not know what you want to accomplish, certainly you always fail every time. You can do anything only if you know what you are trying to accomplish.
