Time is a rare commodity. So if we surf on the internet and find interesting stuff, we want to find it again, right ? Looking for it can be pretty time consuming. And not finding it again costs energy and can be frustrating.
I don’t find anything in my Firefox bookmarks and in my Google toolbar I have only nine sites that are displayed.
I recently came across a web-based solution, and this solution is called “Only 2 clicks” – you are always only two clicks away from what you are looking for.
Needless to say that it’s for free.
Watch this presentation – one of my rare how-to-videos
Important note: It seems that Facebook doesn’t like it if you try to access the page via this type of toolbar. I had to enter a Captcha several times only for going to my profile page begore logging in. So you better go to your Facebook profile directly.
What works perfectly, however, is going to several Facebook groups and tribes through Only2clicks.
For everything else, it works also perfectly.
Which tools do you use to save yourself time and energy ?

Interesting! Thanks for showing this. Although it’s still hard to manage hundreds of bookmarks with such tool. I haven’t been able to find a decent solution for this problem (hundreds-thousands of bookmarks)..

Hi Slava,
OK, the more bookmarks you have, the more difficult it becomes, that’s true. If you choose your tabs properly on this tool, you should be fine even with several hundreds of bookmarks.
Thanks for your comment.

Looks like a good idea for people who have a visual approach in their activities. I persnally use the bookmarking onthe browser – create the required files and then put all liks which belong to a certain category in their respective folders. That way they are also broken down into small groups and easy to find.
I’ll take a not of what you have found as visual people are quite frequent
Good work, thanks

Hi Oliver,
Nice video, and a great site at http://www.only2click.com to save time looking up sites etc.
Here’s what I did to simplify finding sites or logging in to my own sites.
I stored all my URL’s and sites I like in a email draft in my account. Now I just open my email account, then open up that draft email, and click on what I want and bingo it opens. If I have any more to add, I just add them to the draft and I’m done. All the links in the email draft are clickable links, and makes life so much simpler. Easy to find, if you keep them somewhere you can find them.
I also have a bulletin board with a completely organized list of all TE URL’s, Affiliate URL’s, Web Sites, Blogs, Social Sites, Article Sites, Sites of Interest, etc. The best thing is to be prepared, and organized, and one way is to have all your important links listed in one place.
Be creative and find ways to shorten the time spent doing each task throughout your day. Over time you can reduce your time spent on your tasks significantly.
Organize, prioritize, and maximize your results.

Hi Oliver, my HERO!
Thank you for the awesome tip. I totally appreciate it because I’ve really struggled to find sites after I’ve left them. In an attempt to keep track of things I’ve totally cluttered my desktop with shortcuts which is almost harder to find things.
I SO appreciate this tip!

This is a great free find. Its a variation of what some browsers are using but the addition of tabs to it is really powerful. If I ever actually USED my home page I’d be all over it! I use a firefox addon called “smart bookmark bar” to make my bookmark bar links just the favicon so I can keep lots of them in there with easy one click access as long as I recognize them or hover over them to read names.

Hi Kimberly,
thanks for your comment. These tabs are really powerful. If you think beforehand and choose them wisely. Anyway, if not you can change them anytime…
I don’t need a lot of them to categorize my favourite pages.
