Think And Grow Rich – Oliver Tausend Reads His Lessons – The Mystery Of Sex Transmutation

THE MYSTERY OF SEX TRANSMUTATION – The Tenth Step toward Riches

Napoleon Hill begins this chapter with these words:”The meaning of the word ‘transmute’ is, in simple language, ‘the changing, or transferring of one element, or form of energy, into another.’”

He goes on:”The emotion of sex brings into being a state of mind. Because of ignorance on the subject, this state of mind is generally associated with the physical, and because of improper influences, to which most people have been subjected, in acquiring knowledge of sex, things essentially physical have highly biased the mind.”

And:”The emotion of sex has back of it the possibility of three constructive potentialities, they are:

1. The perpetuation of mankind.
2. The maintenance of health, (as a therapeutic agency, it has no equal).
3. The transformation of mediocrity into genius through transmutation.

Sex transmutation is simple and easily explained. It means the switching of the mind from thoughts of physical expression, to thoughts of some other nature.”

    Thought of Heather’s comment above when I read this:

    “When the emotion of romance is added to those of love and sex, the obstructions between the finite mind of man and Infinite Intelligence are removed.”

    “Then a genius has been born!”

    Oliver, this sentence resonates with me because over my life time, I have created many ventures, businesses and projects. Each time, I have found the process of creation to be quite stimulating and I do “lose” myself in what I am doing.

    Over the years, several of my closest friends have been well respected artists and they certainly are in the flow when creating their work.

    “Fortunate, indeed, is the person who has discovered how to give sex emotion an outlet through some form of creative effort, for he has, by that discovery, lifted himself to the status of a genius.”

    I have to say that I never know what to expect when I come here. It’s always a great experience!

    There is a lot of power locked up in expressions of behavior, sex, and thoughts or other embedded (not outwardly manifesting) nature that can be unleashed. It is energy that has the ability to change your life if focused and channeled into other actions.

    Oliver, removing the barrier between the finite mind and infinite mind is something we could (most of us anyway) could do a better job of if we paid closer attention to doing so.

    And by doing so Oliver, I might even become a little ‘blue’ too! LOL. (I caught that)

    Well Oliver, my friend, where to begin?

    I enjoyed your lesson on sex transmutation, especially your beginning comments on the effect of age. Since I am a part of the Baby Boomer Generation, I feel qualified to speak on this topic.

    I firmly believe that, barring some sort of disease state, that older persons not only hold their own in the physical act of sex but are better able to blend in the feelings of love and compassion.

    From my own experience, what once was mostly a physical act in my earlier years has now evolved into the physical, emotional and spiritual act of love with my beautiful wife (I better say that, right?). But it’s very true.

    The older you get, I feel you are better able to gather your life experiences and consider other aspects of physical love.

    I guess that’s enough for now. Need to take a nap :-) .

    I second you on that one: Older persons are better able to blend in the feelings of love and compassion. At least they should be. How many, however, mix in regret, self-pity, even hatred ? Seems they make a decision at some point in time.

    Congratulations to making a decision yourself that seems to me the most beneficial of all !

    What an inspiring listening! The insights we can get from this phenomenal book is simply amazing. Isn’t it just mind-blowing that we still find these gems relevant in this time and age. Goes to show that time and reasons may change, principles of living will always stand.

    Yeah it’s quite difficult to accept that we have finite minds and accepting it is a step in the right direction for an extraordinary discovery.

    Your use of questions is so brilliant. Has a way of making me dig deep to answer those questions.
