Last weekend, my wife and I attended the Millionaire Mind Intensive Seminar (MMI) in Berlin from and with T. Harv Eker.
Please watch this quick video first:
My wife and I love personal development and deeply believe that personal development is a crucial part of life for anyone in any business, in any area of life and at any age.
That’s why we started our conscious personal development journey four years ago and spent close to 30,000 € (euros, not $) for personal development.
We have never worried about the cost, but we were not happy with the results and especially the time frame these trainings required.
We were told that it takes longtime and believed it.
We don’t have issues with investing time and patience, of course not. But what if there was a quicker way to feel and see immediate results ?
In our former seminars, we felt kind of confused after the seminar and saw the mountain of work ahead of us.
We knew that we were supposed to be stronger than people who don’t do personal development.
Isn’t it interesting that we felt weaker instead ?
Now, after these three days, we feel excited and we still have a mountain of work ahead of us.
The important difference is however that we were able to resolve huge emotional issues on spot in an incredibly – and I mean incredibly – short period of time – together with 1,300 other people.
So now, as homework, we don’t have to work on the issues but on creating our new life based upon inner strength and not perceived weakness.
We know very well that all the other seminars prepared the soil for this one and for these breakthroughs. Our former seminars especially allowed us to make peace with our parents and re-create a harmonious and empowering relationship between my wife and me and between us and our kids. That is priceless, is it not ?
However, the weakness of the other seminars was the topic of riches and wealth.
That is completely different with T. Harv Eker’s seminars: They start with the topic of money which is by far the biggest taboo topic in our Western World and number 1 killer of relationships and marriages. Hypocrisy all over the place. Aren’t most people brainwashed to be poor ?
The biggest flaw of all is the competition between love and money. “Love is more important than money.” What is the comparison ? What is more important, the arm or the leg ? Chances are we need both, the leg to walk and the arm to eat, to write etc.
Starting with the topic of money, they get all the other topics as well, such as gratitude and love. Money as an “excuse” for personal development and growth.
So we were weeding out negative thoughts and negative emotions, first and foremost the most debilitating of all – ANGER.
We are saying all that in hindsight.
That was different before the MMI seminar because “life changing weekend” is a strong word and definitely creates high expectations, doesn’t it ? That’s why, we were rather skeptical when we got to Berlin… Deep down, we wanted to break the money curse that we felt in our lives, our souls and our bodies.
Now stay tuned – I am going to share with you in The Millionaire Mind Intensive Seminar – How To Undo The Brainwashing To Poverty Pt. 1 what my issues were and how I resolved them.
You may want to go my post about my insane fear of poverty first because it is closely related to that one.

I really believe that what you say here, in your title is true. Absolutely true.
I know that in my own experience, for so many years- I just didn’t think someone like me could ever break the cycle of poverty in my life. Then when I did step out and I did take risks- oh, the intense fear I sometimes feel is just awful. I have been questioning that fear a great deal here recently, wondering why- why on earth would I fear something like this?
The answer is all the self doubt I still hold. I am seeing a great deal of that and anger in commentary about my recent news piece, and I think that so many people just get knocked so far down, they forget how to get back up.

great post about a really exciting experience in your life. I look forward to reading your next post.
I like how you made the differentiation between this seminar and how you were impacted compared to others you had attended.
It is inspiring to me that this one allowed you to clear up so much of the “issues” (I think you called them) in order to produce the results and life you desire and deserve.
Again, thanks!

Hi Steve,
I am fully aware that this comparison is a bit unfair because the former seminars definitely prepared the soil for the later seminars, like the MMI. I already knew about most of the techniques and I trusted them that they work because I experienced it. It’s how they applied these techniques and their intensity that made the difference.
Thanks for your comment.

Wow! Sounds like it was amazing experience, Oliver! It also sounds like you were working up to this moment. I wholeheartedly agree with the importance of personal development and it’s so motivating to hear how much you’ve invested in your own growth and development, the basis of a solid and successful business, in my humble opinion. =)
Thanks for bringing up the foolishness of setting love and money up for competition. It’s so true that they are both equally necessary for different reasons. Although I believe that we can still value one more than another, there’s always a minimum for optimal growth.
Refreshing to read one of your posts again, Oliver! =)

Hi Samantha,
bottom line is we always we need both, love and money. You can’t carry love to the bank and you don’t tell your kids that you “money” them instead of loving them. They’re completely unrelated. They have in common that they’re both energy and spiritual. Even though money is countable, it’s not material.

Hi Oliver, 30,000 € is a huge investment. And as you grow, I’m certain that you will not hesitate to invest more of your time and cold hard cash on personal development. As you said, personal development is key for personal growth.
Some people would say that this investment is not worth it and they are the same people who are living unhappy, unfulfilled lives and even perhaps working dead end jobs just to pay off their maxed out credit cards which they used the money for gadgets and entertainment that for certain will never serve them in terms of accumulating wealth.
On a positive note, it’s never too late too get started on the road of personal development and the financial rewards far outweigh the initial investment.
Thank you Oliver.

Hi Stephane,
thanks for your comment. 30,000 € is a lot of money. Of course, I would invest more money when necessary. Thanks to our Mental Cleanse, we can do personal development on an ongoing basis and keep our credit card safely in our pocket. It’s incredible how the Mental Cleanse also helps to prepare the soil and plant the seeds, for free. You can’t buy motivation, passion and dedication. So it’s never about the money.
Without the Mental Cleanse, I wouldn’t have had major breakthroughs because it’s the lesson plan about the fear of poverty that got me there – I realized how much emotion still lays on this one.
Be blessed

Oliver, aloha. Thx so much for taking me to Berlin. It was my first time there.
T. Harv must be everywhere these days which is a good thing because he can help so many people. Rownea, who you know, just attended one of his seminars in Singapore and 2 friends of mine in Colorado attended one within the last month.
My friends in Colorado attended the MMI as well and they are as pleased with the results as you are.
Like you, Oliver, they were able to release many limiting beliefs. They were able to trace the origins of their lack mentalities and release them.
Oliver, I am so happy to hear that you and your wife found the mechanism to allow you to take this quantum step forward. Also, I think that it is terrific that your wife is as interested in personal development as you are.
Wishing you all the best, Oliver. Aloha. Janet
P.S. After reading your post, I am inspired to take out my CD set of The Millionaire Mind. I will start listening to it again today.

Hi Oliver!
This is a very titillating post. Really got me into thinking. You know about this indoctrination happening in most leftist groups? They have been fed information that do not allow them to question or critically examine what is being presented to them. They just accept it. Same thing with believing that you can never be a millionaire. If you take it hook, line, and sinker for the rest of your life, then you can just never move on into becoming one.
Excited to learn some more about having a Millionaire Mind.

Hi Elmar,
it seems to be obvious that leftist groups are more likely to brainwash their supporters. But at least you know what to expect. I am certainly not a supporter of leftist political organizations. What really caught my attention however was an advertisement of Gregor Gysi (PDS, ex-SED of the GDR) in the federal election campaign in autumn 2009 in Germany. It said: “Wealth for all.” Lol, I doubt that he has the same picture in mind I have when I hear that.
Even worse than leftist brainwashing is the subtle brainwashing of socially accepted groups like churches and the conservative establishment, especially in the area of education. They would kill the goose that lays golden eggs before it ever laid one.
As always, I appreciate your comment.

Hi Marcus,
to get these tickets for free (!) it required me to attend a three day internet marketing seminar of the worst kind because it consisted of 80 % sales pitches. Without really knowing why I stayed there until the end of day three and then they shared the free tickets for the MMI. Then I knew what kept me staying. Everything happens for a reason.
Exorcising fear – yes and no. I don’t think that we should ever get rid of it. Probably it’s part of human nature. It’s how we deal with it that makes the difference. Whether we chicken out (poor chicken !) or if we simply go ahead beyond our fears. If we never feel fear in our lives, chances are we’re not challenging ourselves enough. The “arrow exercise” was very enlightening.

Agreed on your thoughyts about fear. Without contrast there is no expansion. Period.
This is why I always tell people to welcome when they are getting what they don’t want in life as it is this which allows them to know what they do want. The problem for most is that we continue to focus on “what is”, manifested reality when in effect as far as thought vibration is concerned it is history. It is only bt focusing on whwre we are going that we can change our future reality.

Great post, Oliver! I’ve read his book twice, and I’ve learned a lot from it. My wife is reading it now as well, and it is amazing how many “light bulb” moments she has had since reading it about her attitudes about money. We’re reading some marriage books now as well, but I think that reading about the subject has definitely helped, because now we have a better focus when things go wrong financially and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel and realize it’s not a train. I would recommend the book for couples as well.

The thing I love about it all, is that they go way beyond just money and wealth – one begins to realize that financial freedom is more about the person you have to become to really be wealthy than it is about the money.

It’s all about mindset (which honestly most people don’t know how (or care to) change since we are not taught how to think differently, think for ourselves, and not do what everyone else is doing – so yes as a human race, most are brainwashed to be poor! I blame our countries with shabby school systems, religious exploits, and the overall “control” aspect of society but that’s another story LOL
Fortunately, some of us wake up and decide not to be in the brainwashed/sleep state anymore and have the generosity to help others wake up as well – that being people like you

Of course, our school system are BS – they’re not teaching the most important subjects such as money, love and happiness. Blaming them doesn’t get us very far however. These breakthroughs on the MMI seminar woudn’t have been possible without the constant weekly “soul massage” on our free Mental Cleanse call. It definitely perpared the soil. By the way, we got the tickets for the MMI for free as well because they want to conquer the German market.
So there’s sometimes a free lunch in the world !

More expensive than attending seminars is not attending them. With that said, I want to stress that not every seminar costs a lot of money – we got the tickets for the MMI for free. The Enlightened Warrior Training Camp we’re going to do in October, won’t be for free, at least we haven’t found a sponsor yet (except for the flight, lol). Hi Oliver,
I strongly believe that if you want to have a lot of money, the easiest way to get them is to not think and work just for the money. Once you put your life in place and work hard with determination, money will come.
Thinking about earning money all the time builds up stress that leads to mistakes you wouldn’t do in normal circumstances. Like a gambler that’s on his last money and needs to choose the winning team. Knowing it’s his last chance will get him too scared to take chances that could bring higher profits.
My main idea is, all those courses focusing on the topic of riches and wealth are incomplete.

Hi Oliver,
I completely agree that investing on oneself is the best possible investment one can make. If we don’t invest in ourselves, who will?
I have gone through the Millionaire Mind but haven’t yet had the chance to participate in any seminar. I really liked the book – in fact I would say it was the one of the best books I have read.
Its been a while since I read the book but couple of concepts really stuck in my mind. First was in making a choice – why choose between money and that (whatever that may be), when you should have both.
The second was mention about being a warrior. “I will either achieve that or die trying” (words to this effect). This was really inspiring for me.
